In this module on the CareSens Air CGM, we'll examine the ins and outs of one of the newest CGMs on the market.
Measuring approximately 3.5 by 2 cm and weighing 4.5 grams, the CareSens Air CGM is placed on the back of your upper arm using an applicator and secured with sensor tape. After a 30-minute warm-up, the sensor monitors glucose levels in your interstitial fluid and delivers real-time readings to the CareSens Air smartphone app or the CareSens Air receiver via Bluetooth every five minutes. The sensor lasts for up to 15 days. It is intended for people with diabetes 18 years or older.
This module will help both healthcare providers and individuals with diabetes get the most from the CareSens Air system.
